Join Wharton professor Barbara E. Kahn, a leading retail expert and author of The Shopping Revolution: How Retailers Succeed in an Era of Endless Disruption Accelerated by COVID-19, as she describes her research in e-commerce and digital marketing and the trends that have been affected by the pandemic. Kahn will discuss the companies that have proven to be most successful during a rollercoaster of unpredictability in the industry. She will also explain her findings as to what any business person can learn from these companies’ ascendance and continued transformation in the face of unprecedented challenges.
Kahn will be joined by the Penn Libraries’ Mia Wells, Assistant Director of the Lippincott Library of the Wharton School, who will moderate a Q&A session.
